- Your Epic account must be registered to you and in good standing.
- Cash Cup accounts must be at least level 350.
- You must meet the rank, platform, party, and region requirements on the event card.
For the current Chapter 7 Season 3 Duos Zero Build Cash Cup, both players need Gold rank or higher in Zero Build Ranked before the session begins. The event-specific Zero Build Cash Cup rules{:target="_blank"} also require both duo members to be present and partied together.
Do this check days early. Finding out your duo is Silver or has 2FA disabled 10 minutes before queue is not a competitive problem—it’s an avoidable admin loss.
Practice the exact team size and mode you will play. Ranked Battle Royale reps do not fully replace a Duos Zero Build tournament session.
How Fortnite Cash Cup Scoring Works
There is no safe universal scoring table to memorize. The current Zero Build Cash Cup rules say the applicable scoring system is listed in-game, so copy the scoring page from your event card before you plan your session.
The Chapter 7 Season 3 structure is clear:

That format creates two different games. Round 1 rewards pace across a long session: you need enough completed matches without throwing away placement. Round 2 gives you fewer chances, so one rushed off-spawn fight hurts more.
Ties are broken by total points, then Victory Royales, average eliminations, average placement, and total survival time. That order matters. If two teams finish level on points, a win carries more weight than padding survival seconds.
⚡ Score-planning rule: Write down points, matches played, and average points per completed match after every game. Do not chase a random “qualification pace” screenshot from another region or session.
If you mean a Solo Victory Cup, that is a different cash-prize format. Your 7-Day Fortnite Cash Cup Practice Plan
Day 1: Lock eligibility and roles
Open the event card together. Confirm rank, account level, 2FA, region, platform, start time, and party size.
Choose one player to lead rotations and one to own fight calls. Both players can share information, but the final “push” or “leave” call needs one voice.
Day 2: Build one drop plan
Pick a primary drop, a nearby fallback, and a hard rule for when to disengage. Run the same first five minutes repeatedly instead of changing POIs after every bad spawn.
Track three things: uncontested loot time, first safe rotate, and the resource state you carry out. Your drop is not solved until both players know where the heals, mobility, and exit routes are.
Day 3: Rehearse mid-game rotates
Play for timing, not highlights. Mark when you leave, which edge you hold, and what information triggers a route change.
